Vincent Ingala’s music can be called a mixture of many genres and influences; an almost perfect illustration of the cliché “something for everyone.” “What I do would be classified as smooth jazz, but technically, if you really look into it, it’s instrumental R&B music.”

Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin’” was released in 1981 as a single from the band’s wildly successful album, Escape. Now, Journey tribute band, Escape, takes the album, as well as the band’s legacy, and brings them to life.

For the August 17th Classics at the Merc show, the Temecula branch of the MTAC will showcase some of the finest musicians and instructors the valley has to offer; incorporating numerous musical styles and instruments.

Beginning at 9:00 am on August 17th and running for a full 24 hours, Keys for Life will fill Aces Comedy Club with live music and other entertainment in an effort to raise money for the American Cancer Society.

As the sun sets on the City of Temecula’s Summer Sunset Concert Series, popular classic rock cover band, Rockola, will have everyone dancing their way into fall. Temecula’s family-favorite entertainment option comes to an end after almost three months of music, but Rockola’s Bob Tedde thinks they have saved the best for last.

A unique combination of classic rock and country, Southern California band, Bodie, is bringing what they call “outlaw rock” to wine country in August and September.

It’s been eight years since the popular weekly series, Jazz at the Merc, debuted in Old Town. Creator, musical powerhouse and Temecula resident, Sherry Williams, looks back fondly on the inception of what has become a local entertainment favorite.

At any rock concert across the country, usually at a moment of awkward silence between songs, an eager audience member is bound to yell out “Free Bird!” And despite the novelty of the sometimes sarcastic gesture, there is a solid reason why that particular 14-minute recording has become an anthem to rock audiences worldwide.

Having been billed as the #1 Jimmy Buffet Tribute Band, Garratt Wilkin and the Parrotheads are definitely in the upper echelon of “Margaritaville” musicians and, if you check out one of their shows, the evidence that they’ve been accepted by the faithful is quite obvious.
