Comedian Dwayne Perkins believes the truth will set you free. When he comes to the Comedy Club at Pechanga this weekend, Perkins isn’t looking to impress the crowd with his accomplishments. He simply wants to share with them what he finds funny.

From September 19-21, the City of Murrieta could just as well be Dublin when the Get Shamrocked Irish Festival returns to Town Square Park. Hosted by The Shamrock Irish Pub and Eatery, Get Shamrocked is two days and three nights filled with Irish music, food, drinks and entertainment; created as a way to bring a destination event to the City of Murrieta.

When Cabaret at the Merc Producers, J. Scott Lapp and Jordan Beck, were planning their first Summer Series, they wanted to end their hugely popular season with something extra special. After exploring the work of numerous contemporary artists, Beck and Lapp chose Grammy Award-winning multi-platinum recording artist, John Mayer.

The music of Saxophonist, Songwriter and Producer Boney James has been identified as everything from contemporary to smooth jazz to instrumental pop. When he returns to the Champagne Jazz Series at Thornton Winery on Saturday, September 13th, James hopes that the positive energy he feels while playing live will shine through in his performance.

When they come to Wiens Family Cellars on Friday, September 12th, Robin Zander Band will bring with them classic rock hits, selections from Zander’s solo career as well as a few of the Cheap Trick favorites.
