Comedy Show “Laughs” Tapes at Pechanga
Want to hear something funny?
The stand-up comedy television show “Laughs,” entering its second season on Fox networks, will be taping at the Comedy Club at Pechanga now through the end of the year!
“Laughs” is a montage of the best clips from new and rising stand-up comedians, which have been hand-selected by producers and talent scouts. Each prepares a five to six minute set for a live audience and the best minute or two of each comic’s stage time is edited into the show.
“We love taping at the Pechanga Comedy Club as there is nothing quite like a live comedy show, and it’s a stellar venue,” says “Laughs” producer, Steve Hofstetter. “These comedians are the next big names in stand-up and audiences get to see them on the rise. Meanwhile, the feedback from the crowd gives us an immediate gauge as to who killed it.”
The first season of “Laughs” even has a local connection; airing a clip from 21-year-old Taylor Tomlinson of Temecula (pictured). Foregoing college to pursue a career in stand-up, Tomlinson, who started doing comedy routines at church at the age of 16, now performs nightly at comedy clubs and college campuses across the country.
So, think you need a good laugh? You can be part of the fun by attending the FREE live tapings!
For complimentary tickets, visit LaughsLive.com and enter promotional code NEWLAUGHS. “Laughs” tapes inside the Pechanga Comedy Club on select days, beginning August 6th and continuing through December. Shows start at 8:00p.m. Guests must be 21 or older to attend.
Maybe you can be one of the first to see the next Amy Schumer or Louis C.K.? Let’s just hope it’s not the next Carrot Top because that guy scares me.
