Feeling a little dirty? The 3rd Annual Off Road Nights Dirt Lifestyle Festival, the ultimate expo of all-things dirty, returns to Temecula this weekend but with a change of venue for 2015.

One year ago, on August 1, 2014, the online magazine What’s Up? Temecula officially went live and we are so happy to still be going strong!

People may say hooray for Hollywood but I say, hooray for Temecula because a little taste of tinseltown’s best will be featured in Old Town, with the City of Temecula’s Saturday Night Classics. On three Saturdays in August, Town Square Park in front of City Hall becomes THE place for summer entertainment.

The streets of Old Town are heating up again and it’s not just due to the rising July temperatures. A returning seasonal favorite, the City of Temecula’s Hot Summer Nights always signals that summer is in full swing, with live entertainment taking over some of Old Town’s most popular locales on Friday nights through August 28th.

The 4th of July is coming up fast and, with parades, live music, festivals and, of course, fireworks, the City of Temecula, as well as Pechanga Resort & Casino, are pulling out all the stops to help their community celebrate America’s birthday with a bang! The patriotic party starts at 10:

In the City of Temecula, art is everywhere. From the Gallery at the Merc to the “Art Off the Walls” at the Truax Building to the exhibits at the public library, high quality artwork can be found almost anywhere you look, even on the streets of Old Town – and I mean ON the streets of Old Town – when the Temecula Art and Street Painting Festival returns this weekend.

Easily the biggest and most anticipated annual event in the valley, Temecula Valley Balloon and Wine Festival packs Lake Skinner Recreation Area with tens of thousands of guests itching to partake in the festival’s culinary creations and potent potables, sunrise balloon sails across wine country and other adult as well as family activities; all while enjoying great entertainment from some of the music industry’s biggest names and hottest up-and-comers.

Monday, May 25th will be a day full of Memorial Day activities, beginning with a ceremony next to the “Letter’s Home” veteran’s memorial (created by artist Christopher Parnell) at the Temecula Duck Pond. From 8:30 to 9:30 am, attendees can pay tribute to our fallen troops with speeches from local dignitaries, as well as the Presentation of Colors and Pledge of Allegiance by the Temecula Valley Young Marines and the National Anthem performed by the Temecula Valley Master Chorale. The observance will continue at the Temecula Public Cemetery, 41911 C Street, at 10:00 am.

When strolling down Front Street, it’s easy to imagine what Temecula must have looked like during its earliest days. This weekend, those images become a reality when the City of Temecula’s Western Days once again brings cowboy shoot outs, hoedowns and good old fashioned country grub to the streets of Old Town.

What happens when you have a ton of stuff piling up in your garage that you just can’t fit into the can on the street? The City of Temecula and CR&R Waste Services have teamed up again for City-wide Clean-Up Day; an event to help the community get rid of unwanted items that aren’t accepted during regular curbside service.
