How well do you know Temecula?

If this doesn’t deter you from parking here, I don’t know what will.

Hotel Temecula in Old Town

Hotel Temecula

This is the gate of the historic Hotel Temecula on Main Street in Old Town. What I’ve always referred to as the “scary parking mural,” is actually a work of art by the daughters of artist Leverne Parker, who owned the historic estate and used it as a private residence until her death in 2004. Recently purchased by a Canyon Lake couple, attorneys Richard Beck and Christine Greer, the property is currently being brought back to her original glory and will one day reopen as a hotel and museum. For more information on the property, check out “15 Things That (No Longer) Perplex Me About the Temecula Valley: PART 1.”
