Your Guide to New Year’s Eve in Temecula

Celebrate New Year’s Eve in South Temecula

Pechanga Resort and Casino
45000 Pechanga Parkway, Temecula

Pechanga is party central on New Year’s Eve, with several different ways to celebrate, depending on your needs. The popular Round Bar’s annual Countdown to Midnight (shown above) will have the perfect opportunity for that New Year’s kiss with their picture-perfect balloon and confetti drop. There’s a live DJ and no cover charge to join in on the fun!

For those looking to boogie in the new year, the Eagle’s Nest rooftop night club will open their doors at 8:00 pm and dance the night away until the wee hours of the morning… 2:00 am to be exact. Cover is $50 per person and tickets are available at the box office. Pechanga’s Cabaret Bar offers a NYE party with cover band, The Basix, playing your favorite Top 40 and dance tunes. Tickets are $25 at the door, beginning at 7:00p.m. Both the Eagle’s Nest and Cabaret Bar parties will include complimentary party favors and a balloon drop at midnight.

Finally, if you want to ride a metaphorical wave into 2015, the iconic kings of surf music themselves, The Beach Boys, will be headlining the Pechanga Theater at 8:00 pm. (You should have seen my dad frantically calling the box office the second the tickets for this went on sale. It was like a teenage girl trying to see One Direction.) Think it can’t get better than those good vibrations? The Beach Boys’ longtime buddy, Uncle Jesse himself – John Stamos, will be their special guest. (No word yet on whether the Rippers will be joining him on stage.)

For more information on any of Pechanga’s New Year’s events, visit their box office or call 877-711-2946.

Killarney’s Restaurant and Irish Pub
32475 Highway 79 South G101, Temecula

Make your New Year’s Eve a little Irish this year and, by saying that, I don’t mean how Monica’s boyfriend, Fun Bobby made his coffee Irish, on “Friends.” At Killarney’s, the luck of the Irish is from the authentic pub vibe at this hometown favorite.

If your evening has to be an early one, Early Bird dinner specials are available for $19.99. A three-course “keep your table” option is also available for $39.99 and includes a champagne toast at midnight.

If you plan on eating before you arrive, the fun begins at 9:00 pm and your $5 cover charge includes champagne at midnight to toast the New Year with your fellow leprechauns.

The evening’s entertainment will be provided by local favorite, Crimson Crow.

Reservations will be accepted for the “keep your table” dinner option, but walk-ins are welcome so come on down to Killarney’s this December 31st and have a pint of Guinness in What’s Up? Temecula’s honor.
