Promenade Temecula has teamed up with California State University San Marcos and Mt. San Jacinto College to launch the Promenade Temecula Leadership Council; a new program that will give Southwest Riverside County university, college and high school students the opportunity to increase their educational advancement opportunities and build career skills through mentorship from business and educational leaders in the community.

For the past six years, The Oak Grove Center’s annual benefit concert has funded their students’ love of the arts. For this year’s seventh installment, the event is now so big that it’s literally tripled in size since inception. One of the most vivid memories I have of my childhood is the old Sparkletts Water Show at Sea World in the eighties. There was just something about those lights changing color to different types of music that just blew my young mind.
