Snowbell Rockin’ Nights Lights Up Old Town with Holiday Cheer

Event Details:

  • What: Snowbell Rockin' Nights
  • When: November 28, 2014 -
    January 3, 2015
    Thurs - Sat @ 7pm & 8pm
    Sun @ 7pm
  • Where: Temecula City Hall

One of the most vivid memories I have of my childhood is the old Sparkletts Water Show at Sea World in the eighties. There was just something about those lights changing color to different types of music that just blew my young mind. One scene was particularly dazzling, where strobe lights frenetically blinked to simulate falling snow on the spitting fountains as part of their “four seasons” segment. It was magical.

Now the kiddos in Temecula can have the same psychedelically awesome musical experience with Snowbell Rockin’ Nights at City Hall, Thursdays through Sundays in Old Town.

Snowbell Rockin’ Nights is a light and moving “snow” show, projected onto the actual City Hall complex. The show is synchronized to music and is sure to put you into the holiday spirit, if you aren’t already.

A perfect accompaniment to the light show on the building itself is the musical Christmas tree in Town Square, provided by Visit Temecula Valley and Ambient Communities.

Snowbell Rockin’ Nights is the perfect backdrop for a trip to the Temecula on Ice Skating Rink or just a fun and festive addition to a night in Old Town, which is also lit up like its Clark Griswold’s hometown.

Snowbell Rockin’ Nights is a free event and runs Thursday through Saturday at 7:00 and 8:00 pm and Sundays at 7:00, now through December 21st.

If that isn’t enough Yuletide for one night, head on over to see Santa at his new cabin, this year set up by Pennypickle’s Workshop. Santa appears at different times, depending on the day, so make sure you check www.temeculacalifornia.com for his schedule.

Seriously, don’t you think Temecula is knocking the holiday celebration right out the park?
