On Saturday, August 13th, Together Freedom will be hosting the 2nd Annual Together Freedom Fitness Competition, at P4L Fitness in Temecula, as a way to raise funds to rescue young girls from human trafficking and provide them the services and support they need to recover.

Thursday, April 2nd is World Autism Awareness Day and the City of Temecula, in partnership with Our Nicholas Foundation, will host their third annual “Light It Up Blue” Ceremony, at City Hall. At 7:30 pm, the public is invited to join the City in kicking off Autism Awareness Month, which is a global effort to bring attention to the neurological disorder that, as of 2014, affects 1 in 68 children in the country, according to the Center for Disease Control.

Boschma, pictured above, suffers from X-linked SMA, Arthrogryposis or SMA type 2 and, in March of last year, community leaders came together and held a charity golf tournament in an effort to purchase him a new TRACK mobility chair.
For the past six years, The Oak Grove Center’s annual benefit concert has funded their students’ love of the arts. It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas and, at the Promenade Mall in Temecula, you can enjoy the beauty of holiday decorations while also donating to a good cause, when local holiday shopper’s favorite, Christmas Tree Lane, officially opens on Saturday, November 8th. A fundraiser now in its eighth year, the non-profit organization Habitat for Humanity Inland Valley has been asking volunteers, designers and businesses to donate their time and funds to decorate unique Christmas trees, all with different themes and styles, to be raffled off to support their charitable efforts.
