Fall may be in the air, but the temperature is rising when the annual Hatch Chile Festival returns to Old Town Temecula on September 17th and 18th. Though there are many types of chile peppers, the Hatch chile is specific to the Hatch Valley of New Mexico and is the signature vegetable of the state.

If you close your eyes and imagine the ultimate neighborhood hangout, Stadium Pizza Redhawk might be exactly what comes to mind. Stadium Pizza is a combination pizza parlor and sports bar, complete with sports memorabilia, long bench tables and tons of televisions perfect for watching the big game.

On Saturday, August 13th, Together Freedom will be hosting the 2nd Annual Together Freedom Fitness Competition, at P4L Fitness in Temecula, as a way to raise funds to rescue young girls from human trafficking and provide them the services and support they need to recover.

Now in its fourth year, the Off Road Nights Dirt Lifestyle Festival brings the ultimate in off-road action sports to the Inland Empire, including everything you need to know before you start kicking up some dirt. The ORN festival highlights all of the core disciplines of off-road sports including desert and sand racing, rock crawling, adventure vehicles, motocross and more.

At first glance, the corner of Redhawk and Temecula Parkways is merely a retail strip mail but, nestled somewhere between Kohl’s and Famous Footwear, lies over 150 years of Temecula’s history. A recognized California historical site, Vail Ranch is compiled of seven buildings, originating in the mid 1800’s, consisting of barns, bunkhouses, a post office and an adobe store used by the Temecula’s first settlers.

The returning seasonal favorite, the City of Temecula’s Hot Summer Nights, always signals that summer is in full swing, with live entertainment taking over some of Old Town’s most popular locales on Friday nights through August 26th.

On Monday, July 4th, America will celebrate its birthday and the City of Temecula Community Services Department is putting on quite a party. The festivities begin in Old Town with the annual Fourth of July Parade down Front Street.

This summer, the weekend entertainment starts a few days early with the return of the City of Temecula Community Services Department’s annual Summer Sunset Concert Series, every Thursday evening in June and July.

Like a lot of sports-loving Americans, longtime Temecula resident Bob Craig and his son Ryan had the very ambitious dream of opening the perfect bar and restaurant for their community to sit, relax and watch their favorite teams. But, as opposed to those who never follow through with their foodie fantasy, the father and son team worked for years to turn Uncle Bob’s Sports Bar & Grill from dream into reality.
