Your Guide to New Year’s Eve in Temecula
Celebrate New Year’s Eve in Old Town Temecula
Temecula Stampede
28721 Front Street, Old Town Temecula
Have a few friends in your group that aren’t quite of drinking age? The West Coast’s largest country music dance club, Temecula Stampede, is an 18 and over venue, complete with one of the area’s best DJ’s spinning the latest country music hits. Doors open at 6:00 pm and your $20 cover includes a BBQ dinner (while supplies last), party favors and a champagne (or soda) toast at midnight. There’s even a special “balloon drop for cash,” and, although my contact didn’t elaborate on what exactly that means, it includes balloons and the potential for free money so what else do you really need to know?
There’s no specific dress code but, as I’ve mentioned in previous columns, you’ll be out of place without those shiny boots and one of those pink cowgirl stripper hats they have at the kiosk at the mall. No need to make a reservation for Stampede’s NYE hoedown; just show up and be ready for some country-style fun!
