Hot Summer Nights Returns to Heat Up Old Town Once Again
The streets of Old Town are heating up again and it’s not just due to the rising July temperatures.
A returning seasonal favorite, the City of Temecula’s Hot Summer Nights always signals that summer is in full swing, with live entertainment taking over some of Old Town’s most popular locales on Friday nights through August 28th.
From archway to archway, to the side streets and beyond, you can find free live music in parking lots, patios, street corners and specialty stages all over Temecula’s favorite dining and nightlife district.
Bands and musical acts from numerous genres are scheduled to perform including tribute bands, beach music, reggae, country, rock and blues and the entertainment lineup and locations change throughout the weeks. Some of the selected locations for this year are Baily’s on Front Street, Third Street Smokehouse and Town Square Park, among others, so make sure you take a long walk around town to experience everything Hot Summer Nights has to offer each Friday.
Hot Summer Nights is designed to bring families, as well as adults, down to Old Town. The kids can enjoy perennial favorite, balloon artist Dynamite Dave, in July as well as stilt walkers, mimes, magicians and jugglers in August. Also in August at the corner of Fourth and Front, families can enjoy a photo booth, face painting, bounce houses, kettlecorn and more!
The occasional street vendor with food and gifts will be on hand to add to the festive atmosphere and plan on having dinner at one of Old Town Temecula’s awesome eateries as new restaurants are popping up all the time.
So, whether it’s a night on the town with your friends, date night with that special someone or dinner out with the kids, Hot Summer Nights has something for everyone. It’s just the right amount of cool to beat the summer heat!
