Fall may be in the air, but the temperature is rising when the annual Hatch Chile Festival returns to Old Town Temecula on September 17th and 18th. Though there are many types of chile peppers, the Hatch chile is specific to the Hatch Valley of New Mexico and is the signature vegetable of the state.
The returning seasonal favorite, the City of Temecula’s Hot Summer Nights, always signals that summer is in full swing, with live entertainment taking over some of Old Town’s most popular locales on Friday nights through August 26th.
I conducted an informal, but still enlightening, poll on social media posing this question: Where can someone in the over 40 crowd hang out in the Temecula Valley without feeling insecure, out of place, or…for lack of a better word…old?
Temecula residents and visitors alike can eat, drink and be merry while supporting local schools when the culinary playground, the 6th Annual Taste of Temecula Valley (TOTV), returns to Old Town Temecula on April 29th and 30th.
