Must Be Santa! The Jolly Man Arrives at the Promenade Mall
You better watch out! You better not cry! You better not shout! I’m telling you why! Santa Claus is coming… to the Promenade Mall in Temecula, and he’s bringing with him all sorts of fun for the whole family.
On Saturday, November 15th, the Christmas shopping season officially begins when Santa makes his way to the throne where he will delight children every day through Christmas Eve and the members of the Promenade staff are pulling out all the stops to make the jolly elf feel welcome.
“This event is one of our most sought-after celebrations of the year and we continue to introduce new, exciting elements to enhance our guests’ experience,” Kym Espinosa, Director of Marketing for Promenade Temecula, said. “The holidays are a time when we can be nostalgic and share wonderful memories with our family and friends.”
The theme of the mall holiday celebration and décor are Dr. Seuss’ “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” meets the technology of the 21st century.
As in years past, festivities will be held in the main outdoor courtyard of the mall; complete with a tree lighting ceremony, character visits, and live entertainment provided by the Christian Youth Theater Riverside, Linfield Christian School’s Fine Arts Department, Dunamix Dance Studio, Resonate Vocal Group, and Candor Vocal Group.
The culmination of the yuletide celebration will be the evening’s fireworks and magical “snowfall;” a favorite tradition of community residents.
To make the event easier to see and enjoyed by even more visitors, two large Jumbo-tron screens have been added to the main stage so the smallest of family members will still have a great view.
Another new addition this year is the distribution of lighted snowflake wands for kids, which will be available at the Mountain High satellite station near Red Robin in the Plaza beginning at 6:00 p.m. Arrive early as supplies are limited.
Santa’s arrival celebration will begin at 6:00 pm in the mall courtyard and is scheduled to conclude at 8:00 pm. Guests are invited to meet and take photos with Santa immediately after the presentation.
Promenade Temecula is transforming into a winter wonderland that will last throughout the holiday season so come on down and share this sparkling evening with your own little elves.
