The festival will include live music from 2:00 – 9:00 pm, food and drink vendors and a fun zone where, with a $5 wristband, kids have unlimited use of the inflatables, games, prize wheel and face painting.
The culmination of the red, white and blue-themed extravaganza at the park will be the fireworks at 9:00 pm sharp and make sure to tune your radio to KATY 101.3 FM for the proper musical accompaniment.
Although the family fun begins at 2:00 pm, the park is open beginning at 9:00 am and people will be claiming their spots really, crazy early! I can’t stress this enough! So slather the kids with sunblock, bring your lawn chairs and one of those annoying soccer-mom tents (and I mean the tents are annoying to put up, not the soccer moms, themselves. I am a soccer mom, after all), and be prepared to spend the day.

Do you know if we can claim our spot at 9 before the parade then leave it to SEE the parade. We normally get our spots at 9am but this year my daughter is In the parade…..
