Based in Temecula, California, What’s Up? Temecula is an exciting new online resource for members of the community to access information about the thriving arts and entertainment landscape in their own backyard.
After covering arts and entertainment for The Californian for six and a half years, What’s Up? Temecula Editor Holly Herndon knew that the loss of the newspaper in 2013 would leave a gaping hole in media coverage specializing in Southwest Riverside County. Holly created our website as a way to fill this void and provide her neighbors with the A&E information they’ve been lacking.
With categories including On Stage, Around Town, Family Fun, Temecula Valley International Film Festival (TVIFF), Wine Country and Nightlife, What’s Up? Temecula hopes to become the first place our readers turn, when looking for something to do in their area.
We do not do reviews of past events, but instead feature articles about the performers, events and activities coming to the area; allowing our readers to find opportunities interesting to them and purchase tickets while they can.
We promise our readers nothing but the utmost professionalism. Unlike some of the other blogs and sites you might see online today, we will never accept money in exchange for a story. Although some of our advertisers may be some of the venues and locations we mention in our articles, we will not report on anything we do not feel is beneficial and important to those we value most– our readers.
What’s Up? Temecula was created for you, the community, so take some time to browse our categories, see what we have to offer, and drop us a line on our Contact Us page or on any of our social media outlets.
We want to hear from you so let us know what’s up!
