Sweet! Chocolate Decadence and Pechanga Wine Festivals This Weekend
The festivities begin with Chocolate Decadence on Friday, February 27 from 7:00 to 10:00 pm in the Grand Ballroom. This cocoa-lovers dream allows guests the opportunity to sample fine chocolates, taste over 30 varietals of local and international wines and nosh delicious dessert selections from some of Pechanga’s finest pastry chefs.
The foodie fun continues on Saturday, from 1:00 to 5:00 pm at Pechanga’s 7th Annual Wine Festival. Wine varietals from the Temecula Valley, Central California, Napa/Sonoma, the Pacific Northwest as well as international winemaking regions will be available to taste.
If all the wine tasting makes you a bit peckish, Pechanga chefs from the Great Oak Steakhouse, Umi Sushi & Oyster Bar, Paisano’s Italian, Kelsey’s Bar & Grill, Blazing Noodles, Bamboo, The Pechanga Café and The Pechanga Buffet will be preparing savory and sweet samples for guests to munch while enjoying their favorite wines.
You must be 21 years of age to attend either event. A full list of food festival participants can be found on Pechanga’s website at www.pechanga.com.
In addition to food and drink samples, both appetizing events include live music and entertainment and a silent auction with prizes including getaway stays, golf outings, sports memorabilia, fine wines and much more.
Proceeds from both food festivals will help support Habitat For Humanity Inland Valley’s “Brush with Kindness” program that provides much needed home repairs to senior citizens and those no longer able to do such work themselves.
Chocolate Decadence tickets are $50 each and Wine Festival tickets are $65. Combo tickets for entry into both events are available for $100. Not a wine drinker? No problem! Designated driver tickets are $30 each for Chocolate Decadence and $35 for the Wine Festival, and it’s easy to get your money’s worth on the fabulous food findings alone.
So gather a group of friends, designate a driver, and head out to Pechanga’s Chocolate Decadence and Wine Festival this weekend for a truly indulgent experience.
