In the words of my idol, Olivia Newton John, “You have to believe we are magic. Nothin’ can stand in our way.” Well, as much as I’d like to believe the great Olivia, I’m not necessarily magic, per se, but Lorimar Winery is offering the next best thing, with a full night of prestidigitation and pinot.

On Saturday, March 28th, Lorimar Winery presents Magic and Wine Night, where attendees can enjoy an evening of wine, nibbles and a little slight-of-hand.

Doors to the barrel room will open at 6:00 pm for the pre-show reception, which includes one glass of wine, appetizers and a few up close and personal illusions.

“The evening will start with one glass of wine and light hors d’oeuvres with close up stroll around magic,” Alana Lipton, Lorimar Winery Communications Manager said. “From there, you will enter in to a world of magic and mystery in our beautiful barrel room for a Vegas style magic show.”

The magical main event will begin promptly at 7:00 pm.

“Join Derrick Allen and Kenneth K. for an intimate evening of world class magic and mentalism. Together, they bring you one of the most exciting and exhilarating magic acts out there today,” Lipton said. “The show will be 90 minutes and consist of two acts – one mentalism and one illusion.”

Tickets to Lorimar Winery’s Magic and Wine Night have been reduced to $39 per person. For tickets and information, please visit www.lorimarwinery.com. If you purchased a ticket at the original price of $65, Lorimar is offering a choice of a refund for the difference or wine.

With good wine and great entertainment, the only thing that could make Lorimar Winery’s Magic and Wine Night any better is if Olivia was there in person.
