Have you ever been watching your kids play at one of the City of Temecula’s beautifully abundant parks and thought to yourself, “Man, I really wish I was watching ‘Big Hero 6’ right now”? Me too! Well, now’s our chance!

On Friday nights through July, join Angelina Jolie, Harry Connick Jr., and Ashley Judd for Moonlight Movies in the Park – the annual tradition in Temecula where outdoor movies entertain delighted picnicking families under the stars. Residents are invited to bring their families, friends, beach chairs, blankets and Red Vines and grab a spot on the grassy knoll for a little taste of Hollywood here in the valley.

The remaining summer schedule is as follows:

  • Maleficent: July 10th at Temeku Hills Park
  • Dolphin Tale 2: July 17th at CRC Pool
  • July 24th: Big Hero 6 at Temeku Hills Park
  • July 31st: Paddington at Harveston Community Park

All movies are family-friendly, not an R rating in the bunch, and admission is free to the public. Activities begin at 7:00 pm and movies begin at dusk.

For additional information on Moonlight Movies in the Park, visit the City of Temecula’s Community Services Department website.

And maybe Angelina, Harry, and Ashley won’t actually be there, per se, but they are in the movies we’ll be watching. Plus, I hear celebrities can be pretty high maintenance anyway so we’re probably a lot better off. Hooray for Hollywood!
