This rose is one of the décor elements on the new Main Street Bridge which, after it received a $5 million make over, reopened in May of 2014. The bridge provides a safe passage over Murrieta Creek in Old Town and the re-imagined concept includes, according to a press release from the city, “stamped concrete riding and walking surfaces and stone columns that mimic the north and south gateway arches on Old Town Front Street.” It’s also a great place to take a date to “see the view” after brunch and a few drinks at Baily’s.
