Business Spotlight: Stadium Pizza Redhawk

If you close your eyes and imagine the ultimate neighborhood hangout, Stadium Pizza Redhawk might be exactly what comes to mind.

Stadium Pizza is a combination pizza parlor and sports bar, complete with sports memorabilia, long bench tables and tons of televisions perfect for watching the big game.

One of three, privately owned, Stadium Pizza restaurants, Redhawk location owner, Eric Borgeson, loves that his business is making his neighbors happy.

“I’ve always wanted to own my own place, where family and friends could hang out and have a good time,” Borgeson said.

The menu at Stadium Pizza includes the signature pies, like Borgeson’s “Owner’s Special,” with thin crust, olive oil, garlic, spinach, artichoke hearts and feta cheese. The BBQ chicken pizza includes BBQ sauce, chicken, mozzarella and red onion and veggie-lovers Greenskeeper.

Additional menu items include sharable appetizers like chicken tenders, jalapeno poppers, and mozzarella sticks, cold deli sandwiches, as well as hot choices like meatball marinara or hot pastrami, a full salad bar, pastas and even dessert bread sticks, sprinkled in cinnamon and sugar and topped with vanilla ice cream. Domestic and craft beers are offered on tap, as well as wine by the glass or bottle.

A family man, Borgeson aims to make Stadium Pizza Redhawk appeal to fans of all ages. He offers a full game room for the kids filled with video games, prize cranes and a classic air hockey table, among others.

The sporty atmosphere also makes Stadium Pizza Redhawk the perfect location for the kiddo’s end-of-the-season trophy presentations and they offer specials on pizza and sodas exclusively for team parties. With his children being active in local sports, Borgeson especially enjoys being a sponsor for the teams in his community.

“We are a family friendly environment and we take pride in supporting our local community sports teams,” he said. “Sponsorship plaques are placed all over the restaurant and it’s fun when the kids come in and see their picture on the wall.”

With the NFL package and even special Monday Night Football parties with raffle prizes, Stadium Pizza Redhawk is a local joint to really cheer for.
